It’s that time again and we’re thrilled to welcome all of the new and returning families back to AASP for another exciting school year! We’re looking forward to introducing new activities and exciting field trips over the course of the year, along with the familiar clubs and activities that make after school so unique and fun.
First off, we’d like to take a minute to welcome into the fold a new staff member, Katrine Burkitt. Katrine is very artistically inclined and has quickly taken to developing and implementing new and interesting art projects. Feel free to stop in and say hi when you come to pick up your child.
As of today, the four teams in our hockey league are solidified and are already looking ahead to next weeks games. This year the Viper Claws, The Mighty Minions, The Crushers, and the Gummy Bear Warriors will do their best try to get their names emblazoned for the ages on the Scafidi Cup.
We’re also currently planning a return field trip to Connor’s Farm in Danvers, MA on October 10th. This trip was a ton of fun and extremely successful last year. We’re traveling by bus so space will be limited and we highly recommend that, if your child is interested in attending, you sign-up sooner rather than later to insure your spot.
